Today we drove down to Kenai, AK. It was a little rainy but still a beautiful drive down around Turnagain Arm. As we drove through the smaller towns like Cooper’s Landing, there were fishing guide places everywhere. The small town of Kenai is actually a little bigger than I thought it would be, and it seems to be growing!
Our campsite is at the top of the bluff overlooking the bay
and mouth of the Kenai River. We checked out the Visitor Center after we
arrived, and then went out to eat at a local restaurant recommended to us
called Louie’s. Excellent food!
