Rainy day today – we stayed around camp. I went for a morning walk in the rain down along the beach. Tent camping is allowed on the beach, and there were a couple of tent toughing it out in the rain.
Later in the afternoon, Jim and Sam went fishing and
clamming – no clams and some fish biting but none caught. Jim checked the tide chart online and saw
that high tide was coming in around 11 pm, so he went back out to fish some
more. Around midnight, he said the
silver were running like crazy, and he caught two about 16 inches long! Woo Hoo!!
