Year Three - Day Seventy-One

Sam;s View

Today we went to the Boeing Factory! We got to see 747's, 777's, and 787's being built! It was awesome. The Boeing Factory building is the largest in the world. There is 96.3 acres of space inside! That was amazing.  :)

Summer's View

Today we went on a factory tour of the Boeing Plant in Everett, WA.  What a cool place!  The tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny.  We were able to see 777, 747, and the new Dreamliner 787 being constructed and assembled.

The building is actually the largest building in the world, according to Guiness World Records Books, 96.3 acres under roof.  It is so large, that large ceiling fans had to be installed to keep rain clouds from forming inside when the doors were left open in the summer!  lol  Needless to say, we enjoyed the tour!  They did not allow cameras of any kind on the tour, but we took a few pics in their museum.
